Welcome to LeominsterBeeMan.com

This is the website of Leominster Bee Man,  a beekeeper living in Leominster, MA.  I have created this website to introduce you to the adventure of beekeeping  and to provide you with a  beekeeping resource for Northern Worcester County.    I currently maintain 6 hives and with the help of about 300,000 bees produce honey for family, friends and for retail sale.

One of my greatest joys is talking about bees and beekeeping.  I have created a presentation that is great to show grade school kids about honeybees.  Please see the Presentations link for more information.   A sample of my presentation is included so you can see what you will see.

Beekeeping is a great hobby to get involved with, it allows you to see nature in a new light.  Honey Bees are essential for us.  Without honey bees, there would be little to no pollination of the fruits, vegetables that we eat.  It's estimated that 1/3 of all of the food that we eat is directly attributed to honey bee pollination.  It's not just limited to fruits and vegetables.  Without honey bees to pollinate the crops,  the farm animals  wouldn't exist either.
