Setting up new Hives 4/8/05

I set the new hives at lunch today.  I also took a few pictures of the existing hives and the bees that were coming and going.  They were bringing in 3 different colors of pollen ,  light yellow, green  and bright yellow.

Observation hive on 2/7/05

I think I saw the queen laying eggs today in the observation hive!  These bees are at the entrance to the hive (from the outside of the house.)

This is the tube to the outside.  The bees are fanning to draw the outside bees back in.
