We are a group of Leominster Residents committed to ending breast cancer. We are challenging ourselves to train and walk almost 40 miles to demonstrate our dedication to this cause. Team Activity: May 19-20 - Walk weekend! It rained and rained all weekend. But with your help we have raised $8,981. We didn't get too many pictures because we wanted to keep the camera dry. Overall, we still had a great time and made some new friends on the way. Our crew was great support and the best part was seeing their faces when we crossed the finish line. May 18 - Pre-walk. We stayed at a Hotel in Quincy and was met by some of our sponsors - Richard and Maureen. Pictures above. Donations from Mohemed, Kate and Ray, Donald, Vin, Sarah and Dave, Stephanie, Anon. (we know who you are.) Thank you. April 22 - Earth Day - we are still walking. Less than one month to go. We are now up to 16+ miles/day in training. We are still fundraising for Dana. As of now she has about $300 left to go. It's been a while since we have updated this site, but we didn't forget about those that are supporting us with donations: Scott and Cindy, Peter and Karen, Lopa, Shamika, Drs. Marie and Michael take more training
time this weekend. We walked 6 miles on Saturday and 4 miles
on Sunday. It's great to be outside and we get to

February 24 - Outdoor training walk. Marie and Michael take a side trip to Philadelphia to see King Tut. Forgoing the cold and the cabbies, we walk everywhere that day - total of 6 miles. Donations from: Tracy, Charlene, Maryalice, Patty.Thank you! February 22 - Cross- training day. In order to keep our muscles limber, we need to use them on other activites than walking. So today, Michael and Marie went skiing. This is Marie's first time on skis in 13 years! Donations from: Mary, Vipin, Kathy and Chris, Thank you! February 19 - School vacation week. The gym is still the hangout for Michael's workouts. The cold spell has not broken. The team is at 40% of our overall goal. Happy St. Valentine's Day. We are getting 12+ inches of snow today
and Michael does more workouts at the gym . Donations are still being
added to the website and a number of checks have been mailed in for
additional support! We still have a long way to go to get to our goal. February 9th - Sean is noted on Boston Walk site as #1 Crew fundraiser; Michael takes first training walk on Treadmill at the gym. It's too cold to walk outside.
